Peanut Chikki at Sankranti

Palli chikki is peanuts in jaggery glass. Break it with the hand along the score, the way it is shared at Sankranti beside sugarcane and ariselu. It is a crunch between meals, or with evening tea.
Do not refrigerate. Cold chikki turns leathery and then shatters into dust. A dry tin is enough.
