Pasupu Laddu, the Ceremonial One

Pasupu laddu is the yellow laddu offered to women at marriages, half-saree functions and some festival mornings. It is food and blessing together. Serve one small laddu, sometimes with a little warm milk. It is not stacked beside boondi on a snack plate.
The turmeric smell is meant to be there. Store it covered, away from savouries, and away from plain sugar laddus if you want those to stay white.
