Wedding and Haldi Sweets

A marriage week is not only a sweet box. Pasupu laddu is the yellow one given to women at the haldi and at other women’s gatherings. It is eaten as a small piece, sometimes with warm milk. It is not piled with boondi. Sunnundalu, the urad and ghee laddus, are the strength sweet for elders. Dry fruit laddu is what you set down when people have come from far and the plate should look like a welcome.
Keep pasupu laddu away from the white sugar laddus if those must stay pale. Keep all of them away from the non-veg pickle box. Wedding sweets pick up whatever they travel beside.
If you are sending a box for a function, tell us whose hands it is for. A haldi box and a guest box are not the same packing.
